Choir and coffee
We served up a treat, both musical and sweet, for our choir and coffee event this week. This event is not only to showcase the fantastic work of our school choirs but also to involve and serve our community. Our student council were on hand to serve teas, coffees and sweet treats and also set a very tricky quiz! We had a fantastic turn out of our local parishioners; thanks to all who came.
Visit from Chris Webb MP
Chris Webb MP came to visit our school and told us all about democracy and how he became the MP for Blackpool South. After touring the school and meeting all our pupils, he enjoyed an extensive Q&A session with years 5 and 6 before separately meeting with our student council who were able to tell him what they have been up to.
Symposium #2
Our school student council went to Blackpool youth symposium and met with Lancashire Constabulary. We discussed how we felt about our town and why sometimes we don't feel safe. We even got to sit in a Police car!
