Open Air Mass
Year 4 went to celebrate their taking first communion together with all the Blackpool Catholic Schools.
Water Smart School
We have been visited by water safety expert Carla this week, who has taught our children how to stay safe if they enter cold water. We are working towards the Water Smart Schools award to help increase our children's awareness of the potential dangers of being near water.
Caught Reading!
After choosing out 10 tickets from our 'Got caught reading' winners last week, the ten were taken for a treat at Book, Bean and Icecream in Kirkham. As year is the National Year of Reading, a book treat to take home was also chosen by our winners.
Year 4 Fit2Go winners!
Well done to our Year 4 class who were crowned winners of the Fit2go quiz run by Blackpool FC. As part of their achievement they received a signed Blackpool football and also won a trip to visit Bloomfield Stadium.
Youth Games athletics winner!
What an incredible team. Holy Family finished their athletic season with a win at the Youth Games. We are so proud of their success this year.
Year 1 are feeling patriotic!

Youth games week - Golf Winners!
Youth Games week kicked off with Handball and Golf. Well done to our golf team who won the event, securing tickets to The Open!

Our boys' team played really well in the League Finals. Some super goals and excellent saves.
Y4 visit the synagogue
We are enjoying our Faith week visits, exploring the British Value of individual liberty. Year 4 visited the synagogue at St. Anne's.
Year 6 visit the Buddhist Temple
During our Faith week and educating our children that everyone in our country has the individual right to worship or not, year 6 visited the Buddhist Temple in the Lake District,
Grundy Art Gallery
This week saw Holy Family return to the Grundy Art Gallery to view an original Monet painting! Wow! In addition to this we also participated in creating our own art, which will also be displayed in the Gallery over the coming months.
