SCHOOLS ALIVE!
23 of our pupils danced their socks off at the Winter Gardens SCHOOLS ALIVE! festival of dance. They were superb, showing what can be achieved when you are dedicated. Thanks to Mrs Kelsh-Ridge and Mrs Salt for all their hard work preparing the children for this event.

Advent Mass
A beautiful shared Advent celebration was had at Christ the King church, shared with all the local catholic primary schools. What a glorious way to share the true meaning of Advent.
Grundy visits
The first of our visits to the Grundy library and gallery happened this week. We were lucky to have stories read by Jules before going to see the work of artist JASON WILSHER-MILLS.
Choir and coffee
We served up a treat, both musical and sweet, for our choir and coffee event this week. This event is not only to showcase the fantastic work of our school choirs but also to involve and serve our community. Our student council were on hand to serve teas, coffees and sweet treats and also set a very tricky quiz! We had a fantastic turn out of our local parishioners; thanks to all who came.
Athletic success
Our year 5 and 6 athletics team were successful at the recent Blackpool schools' athletics tournament at Stanley Park. Well done to all the boys and girls involved and a huge thank you to Mrs Unsworth for training the squad.
